:: A Message from Senior Pastor Tong Liu of River of Life Christian Church ::“The fields are white, and ready for harvest.” — This is what I have seen and participated in harvesting through last ten years of ministry around the world. This participation also resulted in the rapid increase of the number of daughter churches established by River of Life Christian Church. Our Lord has taught us to pray for his sending out of laborers into his harvest. God’s kingdom is in urgent need of the laborers, even the laborers that meet today’s need.
This is why we started River of Life Pastoral Leadership Institute. Our emphasis is not only on the teaching of biblical knowledge, but also on the pastoral and missionary skills so that the graduates can enter into the field and ready for effective ministry. Within the last ten years, River of Life Christian Church has grown from 70 to over 2,000 people, and planted many daughter churches locally and all around the world cross-culturally. We are eager to share this experience with those who desire to take part in God’s rapid expanding kingdom.
River of Life Pastoral Leadership Institute is not to replace the work of seminaries, but to build the bridge between seminary education and church ministry/mission work. Therefore, if you have the burden for full time ministry, or if you are pastors in need of continuing education, or if you are seminary graduates searching for challenging ministry, I would love to invite you to join ROLPLI. |
