【School System】

  • Semester systems: Winter, Spring, summer and Fall semester.
  • Courses are either in "Intensive Courses" which completes in one week, or in "Semester System" which completes in 8-12 weeks.
  • Detailed course description will be announced two months before the start of each semester, and begin accepting enrollment at the same time.
  • Student can take either local courses or online courses. Online courses will be available online one week after the local courses. Student should complete online DVD courses themselves.
  • Each unit is 12 class hours. Students are required to complete the assigned homework and report accordingly.
  • Letter grade will be used in academic evaluation. The passing grade is B-. Any grade that is below C- is considered as Failure.

  • Master of Christian Ministry (M.C.M.)

This degree is designed to equip the student to serve the church with theological and Biblical training and to be able to develop different ministries in the church.

 

There are 52 Course Credits required to earn the Master Degree of Christian Ministry (M.C.M.). The M.C.M. program will assist students in grasping the truth and context of Scripture and theology, in effective pastoral care and teaching of Scripture, and in developing the ability to serve in different ministry areas like bible teaching, biblical counseling, church groups leading, and church community services.

 

Qualifications

1) A Bachelor's degree or its equivalent, or a higher degree, is required for admission to the Master of Biblical Studies program.

2) Have been called to salvation and baptized for at least two years, and have been actively engaged in the ministry, with a desire to serve God in the future.

3) Be of high moral character and spiritual maturity, and be recommended by a pastor or church leader.

4) Be able to read, understand, and write Chinese, and have basic English skills.

5) Complete 52 credits(21 credits from Core courses, 13 credits from biblical and Theological courses, 18 credits from elective courses)

6) Graduation grade point average of (B-) or higher

  • Diploma of Bible Studies (Dip.B.S.)
  • The Diploma in Biblical Studies is designed to prepare students to teach theology and Bible in the church and to further their studies in the Bible in the future.

     

    Diploma in Biblical Studies helps students to grasp the truth and context of Scripture and theology, to pastor and teach Scripture effectively, and to develop competence in the study of Scripture. The Diploma is awarded to students who have completed their diploma studies with a grade of "B-" or higher. There are 27 course credits required to earn the Diploma of Biblical Studies.

     

    Qualifications

    1) Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or higher degree, is required for the Diploma in Biblical Studies. Or A minimum of (B-) and three years of pastoral ministry in a church or organization plus 60 credits courses in ROLPLI to get Bachelor equivalent status. The additional credits must be completed before the completion of the Dip.B.S.

    2) Have been called to salvation and baptized for at least one year, and be actively engaged in ministry, with a desire to serve God in the future.

    3) Be of high moral character and spiritual maturity, and be recommended by a pastor or church leader.

    4) Be able to read, understand, and write Chinese and have basic English skills.

    5) Complete 27 credits (14 credits from Core courses, 13 credits from elective courses)

    6) Graduation grade point average of (B-) or higher

  • Master Degree of Divinity(M.Div.)
  • This program is designed to provide basic and comprehensive training for those preparing for full-time ministry. It includes biblical studies, theological studies, ministry skills and exercises. In addition to classroom study, students are required to undergo spiritual exercises and participate in internships arranged by the College.

     

    There are 82 Course Credits required to earn the Master of Divinity. The (M.Div.) program helps students to master biblical and theological truths, to teach the Bible effectively, and to develop the ability to study the Bible in preparation for further theological preparation for church pastoral care, missions, and theological teaching.

     

    Qualifications

    1) A Bachelor's degree or its equivalent, or a higher degree, is required for the Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree.

    2) Have been called to salvation and baptized for at least two years, and be actively engaged in the ministry, with a desire to serve God in the future.

    3) Be of good character, spiritually mature, and recommended by a pastor or church leader.

    4) Be able to read, understand, and write Chinese with basic English skills.

    5) Complete 82 credits (36 credits from Core courses, 20 credits from biblical and Theological courses, 26 credits from elective courses)

  • Doctor Degree of Ministry (D.Min)
  • The Doctor of Ministry program provides opportunities for church and vocational preachers, missionaries, and co-workers in evangelical organizations to further their education, to enhance their pastoral leadership, to deepen their practice of biblical interpretation and preaching, to enrich their passion for counseling, and to develop their mission of planting churches, as well as to write dissertations on their pastoral care and learning experiences for the benefit of the churches and evangelical organizations.

     

    There are 36 Course Credits required to earn the Doctor of Ministry. A 150~200 pages thesis will be required for this program.

    Qualifications

    1) Applicants for the Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) degree must fulfill one of the following two requirements:

           a. Master of Divinity (M.Div.) with a grade of (B-) or higher, and three years of pastoral or organizational ministry in a church. If the applicant has at least two years of experience prior to obtaining the Master of Divinity degree, he/she is eligible to apply if he/she has completed two years of ministry.

           b. Master of Christian Ministry (M.C.M.): A minimum of (B-) and three years of pastoral ministry in a church or organization plus 19 credits courses in ROLPLI to get M. Div. equivalent status. The additional credits must be completed before the completion of the D. Min.

    2) Have been called to salvation and baptized for at least three years, are actively engaged in the ministry, and have a desire to serve God in their lifetime.

    3) Be of good character, spiritually mature, and recommended by a pastor or church leader.

    4) Be able to read, understand, and write Chinese and have basic English skills.
